Torun is one of Poland's oldest cities, dating back to the 13th century. In medieval times, Torun was one of the most important centers of trade in what is now Poland and was one of the members of the Hanseatic League, a trade organization of Northern European cities. Today you can still see remnants of this past, primarily in the Old City. The Old Town in Torun is undoubtedly one of the city's biggest attractions. There are many monuments and buildings with interesting architecture that delight tourists from all over the world. During the marathon, you can take part in running at different distances, and the route of the race leads through the most beautiful places in Toruń.

It is worth visiting Torun both in winter and summer, as the city offers many interesting attractions all year round. In winter, on the other hand, visit Torun to see one of Poland's most beautiful cities in a festive atmosphere. At that time you can see beautifully decorated Christmas trees in the Old Town Square, and there is a special, magical mood throughout the city. Torun is also a great place to relax for families with children. Children are sure to be delighted with a visit to the Planetarium, as well as the Gingerbread Museum, where they can take part in workshops and make their own gingerbread cookies. The zoo, which is located adjacent to the city, is also worth a visit. All in all, Torun is definitely a place worth visiting. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland and offers many attractions for tourists. Rich history, numerous monuments, museums, cultural and sports events - all this makes Torun one of the most visited cities in Poland.
